Global Service Company Division Requires Design Engineer

Progressive Global Energy have been tasked with sourcing a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the South Aberdeen base of a division of a global service company.

The position is permanent and can pay up to £44k per annum with additional benefits alongside this.

The client are part of one of the biggest Oil and Gas service companies within the global industry, and are looking to bring a Mechanical Design Engineer onto the excellent engineering team that currently exists.
The focus lies in the design and development of downhole fishing and remedial tools, and allow for engineers to work not only on modification, but also on the initial conceptual design as well.

As a result, successful candidates will meet the following criteria:

- Degree Qualified in Mechanical Engineering
- 3 years minimum experience in a design office (preferably within the industry)
- Proven experience with 3D design and analysis (preferably ProEngineer)
- Proven experience working with downhole tools
