Global Service Company Require Mechanical Design Draughter

Progressive Global Energy has been tasked with sourcing a Mechanical Design Draughtsperson to join a division of a global service company in their South Aberdeen office.

The position is permanent and can pay up to £45k per annum, depending on your fit to the profile the client is looking for.

The business has a focus on the design, development and manufacture of products and components regarding solids and fluid control and waste management within the Oil and Gas industry.
As a result of the below, the job profile will involve the following tasks:

Produce engineering drawings and documents, (2D & 3D drawings, technical illustrations etc), in a timely manner.
• Progress engineering projects as allocated
• Provide support to Fluid Control Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Sales & Service Departments
• Assist with larger projects working as part of a team
• Set priorities regularly as dictated by workload
• Liaise with clients and suppliers as required
• Assist document controllers with clerical and administrative duties to ensure documentation is of a consistent high quality
• Keep abreast of engineering developments, trends, equipment and processes - and advise Manager if these could be
applied to improve current work practices, equipment, products etc.
